The Angels Network held two receptions during 2009 to support organizations that provide transitional housing and assistance for women and children:  

In addition to introducing the work of these wonderful organizations, The Angels Network receptions provide an opportunity for networking with other professionals from the business/government. Enjoy excellent hors d'oeuvres, wine and refreshments donated by our generous host TD Bank. All funds go to the charity we honor that evening.

The Angels Network, dedicated to the mission of "helping women help others,” is a component fund of the Northern Virginia Community Foundation (NVCF), a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our receptions raise funds for deserving, local, community based charities in the Washington DC metro area. There are no dues or fees for membership. There is no staff; everything is done by volunteers. Our goal is to support organizations and programs in need, and to do so with as little fan fare as possible and as quickly as possible. We don't let bureaucracy get in our way. We are grateful for every donation, no matter how large or small.
